Standard Acopian BirdSavers consist of 1/8" diameter nylon cords (dark olive green color) hanging about 4.25" apart. They hang from a 1/8" diameter nylon, horizontal 'support cord'.
To order Acopian BirdSavers, these five items are required:
- Glass Width
- Glass Height
- Distance 'A'
- Mounting Choice
- Total Height
- Measure the Width and Height of the GLASS. If there is more than one pane of glass in your window, you may want to have a look at the "Acopian BirdSavers Cord Spacing Examples" before taking any measurements.
- Determine Distance 'A'. This is the distance from the horizontal 'support cord' to the top of the glass. Be sure your Distance 'A' is between about 0.5 inches and 8 inches. Otherwise, your measurement is probably incorrect! (click here to see Distance 'A').
- Determine which Mounting Choice you would like to use for attaching the 'support cord' to the building:
